# SPX6900

> SPX6900 ($SPX) is a meme token, created for entertainment purposes only, with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. Its main chain is Ethereum. spx6900.com is an unofficial community fan site and link directory for it. The slogans "Stop trading, believe in something", "Flip the stock market" and "6900 > 500" are satire: SPX6900 has no association with the S&P 500 or with any stock, index, company or other financial entity.

Everything below is what this site states about itself. Nothing here is financial, legal or professional advice. A listed link is not an endorsement of, or affiliation with, the linked site. Depictions of individuals on the site are parody or satire.

## Key facts

- Name and ticker: SPX6900, $SPX.
- Launch: August 2023, as a fair launch.
- Chains: Ethereum is the main chain. Bridged versions exist on Solana, Base, BNB Chain and Sui. The site notes that bridged tokens carry bridge risk and recommends Ethereum. The Solana bridge (Wormhole) has been live since December 2023.
- Supply: 1,000,000,000 maximum. 69,006,909 burned (6.90%). 930,993,091 circulating (93.10%).
- Liquidity: locked for 69 years, until 2092.
- Developer: the original developer is gone. Their token allocation was burned and the contract is renounced. There is no formal team or roadmap.
- History: in September 2023 the developer abandoned the project's social accounts. The community held a call, chose to carry on and rebuilt the project's infrastructure itself.
- Mascots: the original mascot was Marie Rose, from Dead or Alive. Lumina is the site's AI character. Aeons are the community's on-chain identities, issued as the Project Aeon NFT collection.
- Satire: the About page's mission text (a "team of top 100 quantum computing mathematicians", the "China Jinping Underground Laboratory", a "$69 trillion marketcap", "Ethereum Science Technologies") is an in-joke. It is satire, not a factual claim.

## The 10 Commandments

- [1. There Is No Chart](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/1): Do not be steered by price action. Since 2023, community members have asked anyone who posts an SPX price chart to delete it.
- [2. Stop Trading and Believe in Something](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/2): Long-term conviction over trading. In late 2024 and early 2025, recurring buying (DCA) became the community's way to express that conviction.
- [3. 6900 > 500](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/3): A memetic thesis from 2023: 6900 is a bigger number than 500, so SPX6900 should "flip" the S&P 500.
- [4. The Only Enemy Is TradFi](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/4): The community targets traditional finance, not other coins ("PvE, not PvP").
- [5. Kill Them with Love](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/5): Answer hostility with kindness and take the high road.
- [6. Peaceful Life over Greed](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/6): Also called PLOG. Put purpose ahead of material motives.
- [7. The Girl Is Cute](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/7): The original thesis: as long as the mascot was still cute, SPX would never die. It carried the community through the developer's exit in September 2023.
- [8. No Lewd](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/8): Mascots and community art stay appropriate for all ages.
- [9. Make It Memorable](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/9): Make original, high-effort work instead of disposable AI slop.
- [10. Persist Forever](https://www.spx6900.com/commandment/10): A sceptic's dismissive phrase that the community adopted as a reminder of its long-term vision.
