The 10 Commandments exist because a few boundaries helped shape $SPX into what it is today. Set by the community, these rules will keep growing $SPX into something far bigger. They were written to guide and protect the community, not to punish the outlaws.
Beginning in 2023, anyone who posted an SPX chart would be bombarded by aeons telling them to delete it, or editing the image to show axes but no chart. The point was to reinforce that we are constantly manipulated by price action. Strip the chart away and all that is left is our inherent conviction in what SPX is capable of.
DCA became the dominant trend in SPX through late 2024 and early 2025. It became a way for people to vote with their money and express conviction in the long-term goal of flipping the stock market.
Self-explanatory. Safe math. SPX6900 is destined to flip the $69T market cap of the S&P 500, because we have 6400 more S's & P's. The 2nd memetic thesis from 2023, distilling conviction down to an undeniable mathematical principle.
Since the mission is to flip the marketcap of the S&P 500, we stay laser-focused on our opponents in traditional finance: the institutions that have devalued humans while prioritizing financial incentives and perpetuating their own power. SPX is an anti-establishment coin, the natural progression after Occupy Wall Street and the GameStop short squeeze: both times, institutions were protected despite malpractice and retail suffered in their place. This positions SPX6900 as PvE, not PvP.
Aeons are always euphoric. We have dealt with intentional ignorance from KOLs and Feds who attend our Twitter spaces aiming to disturb the peace. Aeons are asked to take the high road. After all, SPX is a spiritual calling for many of us.
Also known as PLOG. It asks the community to lay down their material motives in favor of something deeper, more purposeful, and ultimately more fulfilling.
Marie Rose was the original mascot of SPX6900. "The girl is cute" was an original memetic thesis: so long as the girl was still cute, SPX would never die. When the dev rugged the social platforms and burnt their allocation, a Twitter space was held in September 2023. Spacefroot came on stage amid talk of whether to salvage the project and asked, "is the girl still cute?" Cold famously doubled down, and Ideahazard began delegating who would rebuild all the infrastructure we once had.
This was the start of the SPX moral frameworks. It set the standard for how our female mascots were represented in original content: from Marie Rose of Dead or Alive, ultimately to aeons, our custom on-chain identities. With so many new creators appearing, we needed an aesthetic that was distinctive yet appropriate for all ages. The "no lewd" rule was one of the major early factors that set us apart from other memecoins.
As AI made art, writing, and video effortless to generate, feeds everywhere drowned in disposable slop that is forgotten before it scrolls off the screen. SPX creators held a higher bar: every offering, whether an image, a caption, or a clip, should burn into the retina. Make it unique, make it beautiful, make it unmistakably yours. People remember SPX6900 because of your specific frame, your specific words, your specific angle. Slop lacks the character and real effort it takes to be memorable.
RaoulGMI once streamed himself asking "how tf is it going to persist forever when the S&P [500] is trading at $10,000," adding that he doesn't even see SPX6900 on his Twitter feed. Clearly he scrolls the timeline with his eyes closed. The community ran with "persist forever," repurposing it as a call to action, and a reminder that we hold a long-term goal and vision.
